iGaming ad networks: pricing models and traffic quality compared

Published 2026-07-30 · 9 min read · AffSafe Registry Desk

Buying media for casino offers means working with specialist networks, because most mainstream platforms restrict or prohibit the category. That narrows the supply pool, raises the price of quality inventory, and puts the burden of traffic verification almost entirely on the buyer.

Pricing model first. CPM is cheapest per conversion once your funnel is proven, but it transfers all the risk to you: you pay for impressions regardless of outcome. CPC gives cost control during optimisation and is the sensible middle ground while creative is still being tested. CPA moves the risk to the network, which prices it accordingly and usually caps volume — useful for validation, rarely the model you scale on.

Format performance in this vertical is uneven and geography-dependent. Push notification inventory remains cheap and high-volume but quality varies enormously by source. Pop and interstitial traffic converts on aggressive bonus offers and almost nothing else. Native placements produce fewer but far better-qualified clicks and work best with content-style landing pages. Display is largely a branding and retargeting play at current prices in regulated European markets.

Traffic geography is where budgets are won or lost. European supply is expensive because the licensed inventory pool is small; LATAM and Southeast Asian supply is a fraction of the price but needs substantially more volume to produce a depositing player, and deposit sizes are lower. Neither is better — but blending them in one campaign hides which is actually profitable.

Fraud filtering deserves a direct conversation before the first euro. Ask specifically about bot detection, click-flood protection, source blacklisting and whether you can see per-zone data. A network that answers in generalities on this question in this category is answering.

A disciplined test looks like this. Fix a budget per source and format combination. Run each format as a separate line item. Track at source or zone level from the first impression. Set a conversion-rate floor and blacklist below it without sentiment. Compare the network's reported clicks against your own tracker; a persistent gap of more than a few percent needs explaining before you scale.

Judge on cost per depositing player, never on cost per click. Cheap clicks that never deposit are the single largest source of wasted spend in gambling media buying, and the sources that produce them will look excellent on every metric except the one that matters.

The ad networks listed on AffSafe are scored by working media buyers on inventory quality, format coverage, effective CPA, manager access and payment options, with the regional traffic mix recorded on each profile.
